Gateway to Science hosts STEM camp

BISMARCK, N.D. - The Gateway to Science center hosted a science, technology, engineering and math camp. Kids had the chance to create origami, bake bread and use items like Popsicle sticks and cardboard to make their own creations.

"It's vitally important for kids to get involved in anything that is hands on because it develops their critical thinking,” STEM leader Kim Eslinger said.

The center puts on the all day camps on days when there is no school for students.
