Gate City Bank supporting charities for ‘Giving Hearts Day’

MINOT N.D. - Giving back to the community is something Gate City Bank prides itself on and in celebration of its 95th anniversary it is doing just that.

As a part of the annual "Giving Hearts Day" on Feb. 8, Gate City Bank is giving 38 charities within North Dakota and Minnesota $2,500 each.

Community members are encouraged to vote for their favorite charity so they could win the money.

Some of the charities in Minot are the Dakota Hope Clinic, Salvation Army, the Domestic Violence Crisis Center and the Souris Valley Animal Shelter.

Gate City Bank staff say this is one way to give back to local programs who make a big impact in our community.

“At Gate City Bank we do want to provide a better way of life for our customers for our communities in North Dakota and in Minnesota and giving back is one of our pillars at Gate City Bank so this year they decided to go above and beyond,” said Lindsey Stenson, senior personal loan officer.
