FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota gas prices are at a 28-month high. According to AAA, the statewide average is $2.54.
The last time North Dakota motorists paid a higher price at the pump was in September 2015, when the average was $2.76.
Last year's average for North Dakotans was $2.36 for regular gas.
Motorist this year can expect to pay an additional 15 cents or more at the pump as the price of oil continues to trade at multi-year highs. But, the statewide average isn’t expected to hit $3 in 2018.
