Free fun zone for kids and parents

MINOT, N.D. - The Minot Fun Zone will open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday starting Dec. 5 at the Old Armory. It will feature bounce houses, coloring areas, all sorts of toys, games, and fun activities for young kids.

Children must be accompanied by an adult, but it gives parents a chance to spend some quality time with their youngsters.

“This is a free thing. We do require that there is at least one adult for every four kids that come through the door. We want the adults to stay here and interact with the kids a little bit. We have a supervisor, but it’s meant more for adults and kids to interact,” said Ann Nesheim, Minot Recreation coordinator.

The Minot Fun Zone will stay open through the last week of March.
