Ex-Husband of Missing Bismarck Woman Arrested for Murder

SAN DIEGO, Calif. Police in Arizona have arrested the ex-husband of a retired Army captain and Bismarck native, Julia Jacobson, in connection her disappearance. The 37 year old woman was reported as a missing person on September 2nd in San Diego, California.

Since then, the San Diego Police Department and the Ontario Police Department have led the investigation into her disappearance.
Based on a press release that KFYR-TV obtained, investigators believe that Jacobson was murdered, after investigators conducted a forensic analysis of Jacobson’s car.

In a coordinated effort with the Phoenix Police Department and the FBI’s Arizona Violent Crimes Task Force unit, authorities took Dalen Larry Ware into custody in Laveen, Arizona in connection to Jacobson’s possible murder.
Ware is being transported to the San Bernardino County West Valley Detention Center and will be booked for murder.

At this time Jacobson’s remains have not been found. She is described by authorities as 37 years old, 5 foot and 7 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes.
