DUNN COUNTY, N.D. - A pipeline spill in western North Dakota has been blamed on human error.

State regulators say the spill was reported by Crestwood Midstream over the weekend and leaked more than 11,000 gallons of oilfield wastewater in Dunn County.

Officials at the Department of Mineral Resources say crews forgot to close a valve on the pipeline, which caused the spill.
