Hundreds of Bismarck and Mandan residents were supporting the God's Child Project.
The non-profit, founded in Bismarck, helps thousands around the world. They build and run schools and hospitals in troubled regions, as well as many other services. Miguel, Their Central American Director, was taken in by the project when he was nine. He was cared for and educated through the God's Child Project.
"Now I have education. I'm working for the God's Child Project because I think it's my turn to help other boys and girls," said Miguel Angel Alvarez.
The event Friday night expected to raise $150,000 for the project.
