MINOT, N.D. - Cutting your own vegetables is time consuming so in this week's don't buy it until we try it, Stephanie Rank tries a product that claims to cut that time in half.
Chopping your veggies can be a tiresome chore, but the SliceOMatic claims to make that chore quick and easy. But I had to see if it's claims were true so I headed over to Marketplace foods to check it out.
The device claims to make your potatoes into potato chips in a matter of seconds and it surly did.
"I think it'll save you time, and it's easy to push down," said Kim Burlingame, Deli Manager at Marketplace Foods at Arrowhead.
It also is beneficial for those who have a harder time cutting.
"If you have arthritis in your hands, it’s much easier to use instead of peeling and slicing," said Burlingame.
Plus, it comes with a variety of ways you can slice your veggies.
"You can make French fries, you can make chips out of it, little julienne style cucumbers," said Burlingame.
Making this product a little slice of heaven.
"I would give it a thumbs up, because it'll save you time on slicing and cutting and getting ready for supper or parties or whatever," said Burlingame.
The SliceOMatic sells for about 15 dollars and if you have any ideas for my next Don't Buy It Until We Try It feel free to send me a message on Facebook or email me at email@example.com.
