Don't Buy It, Until We Try It: Pancake Express

BISMARCK, N.D. - Pancakes and breakfast go hand-in-hand and in this week's don't buy it until we try it, I try a product that claims to make them with ease.

Pancakes are a breakfast staple, and now there's a device that claims to make the perfect pancake every time, the pancake express. But I had to see if it's claims were true so I headed over to Homesteaders Restaurant to test it out.

First, we used homesteaders homemade pancake mix and poured it into the device.

"Very convenient and very not messy," said Shaun Roussin, Chef at Homesteaders.

Then all we had to do was heat up the stove, and press…and out came perfect circular pancakes.

"It’s a very good invention. it was easy to pull and the pancakes were very consistent," said Roussin.

It also protects against having a giant mess.

"The one that we've been using for years it doesn't have a cover so this one makes it convenient to where we are not making such a mess when we are so busy," said Roussin.

Making this product the perfect breakfast companion.

"Thumbs up because kids and parents can use it without making a mess," said Roussin.

Pancake express sells for about 10 dollars and if you have any ideas for my next
