BISMARCK, N.D. - Planes, hovercrafts, and static cling were among the science excitement at Kirkwood Mall. Discover Engineering is in it's fifth year at the mall. Engineers from many walks of life get together to provide games and activities to kids.

"It's a hard field to get into. It's a lot of hard work and the science and math might not be as interesting to some people, but there is a core group of kids that really likes science and math and we want to reach out to them and make sure that they know that there's a good career field for them in store," said Wes Dickhut, a Braun Intertec Engineer.

The goal of the event is to inspire more kids to go into the engineering field.
