Dickinson Police arrest armed man for reckless endangerment for 2 separate incidents

DICKINSON, ND - Dickinson Police responded to a report from a 911 caller who said they had been shot at in a McDonald's parking lot while sitting in their vehicle Sunday just after 12:30 a.m.

Officers arrived on scene and discovered several shots had been fired. One of the vehicle's occupants was injured by broken glass and was treated at a local hospital.

At about 1 a.m. officers responded to a report of a man threatening to shoot people at an apartment building on the 1800 Block of Prairie Avenue.

Twenty-one-year-old Tyler Hendricks was armed when police arrived but was taken into custody without incident.

Police determined that the two incidents were related and the Hendricks was arrested for reckless endangerment and terrorizing.
