Dancers showcase their skills in Bismarck

BISMARCK, N.D. - A couple hundred Bismarck residents were at Century High School today cheering on their girls.

The Centahnas showcase is the main fundraiser of the year for that team. It will help pay for them to hire choreographers and pay for travel costs. It is a competition of cheer and dance teams from many schools and clubs across Bismarck.

"It's a good time to practice. There is no trophy or anything, it's all just judges' comments. It's kind of a pre-competition to help girls practice and get better at what they need to," said Lexus LaMotte, Centahnas Head Coach.

The teams at the show included Legacy, Let's Dance, St. Mary's, Bismarck High and Just For Kix.
