DICKINSON, N.D. - Dickinson State University is making cuts and some athletes are going to be affected.

The baseball and golf programs will be eliminated after the 2017-2018 season.

DSU needs to make $5 million worth of cuts in the next two years, and $400,000 of those cuts will come from athletics.

Baseball and golf will be discontinued unless the programs can raise enough money on their own.

Athletes who are affected will be allowed to transfer to another school.
