BISMARCK, N.D. - A Williston man has been ordered to testify to a federal grand jury regarding the Dakota Access Pipeline protests.

An attorney says pipeline opponent Steve Martinez has been called regarding the explosion that caused serious injuries to a New York woman.

Protesters say the explosion was caused by a police grenade, while authorities say protesters rigged a small propane tank to explode.

Martinez says he will refuse to testify and is prepared to be arrested.
