CANNON BALL, N.D. - There's been more activity near the Dakota Access Pipeline protest camp.

A video from Morton County shows more than 40 protesters at the Backwater Bridge early Friday morning, removing security wire from the north end of the bridge. Law enforcement officers say the protesters carried shields, knives, hatchets and chains.

After about an hour the protesters left the area. No arrests were made.

Then Friday afternoon two people were arrested near Turtle Hill for criminal trespass.

As of Jan. 6, 584 protesters have been arrested since Aug. 10.
