MINO6T, N.D. - Construction is set to begin Monday on the 83 Bypass.
The Bypass is being expanded to four-lanes from Highway 2 North to 4th Avenue Northwest, with the construction of two new bridges adjacent to the existing bridges over the Souris River and the Canadian Pacific railroad tracks.
Drivers should expect some minor delays, but the majority of the work will take place off to the side of the existing road.
Speeds may be reduced and flaggers may be present at times.
The entire project is expected to be completed in the fall of 2018.
