MINOT, N.D. - Due to the weather conditions, all non-essential offices in the City of Minot will be closed Tuesday.
The Minot Police Department has issued a No Travel Advisory for the City of Minot.
Services such as sanitation, public transit and the Minot International Airport will be closed until further notice.
Persistent wind and low visibility has prompted the Minot International Airport and partnering airlines to cancel all flights for Tuesday, Dec. 6 departing and arriving in Minot. Passengers are asked to contact their carrier for the latest flight details.
Other City Offices that will be closed include the Minot Public Library, City Hall, Public Works Administration, and the Minot Municipal Court.
The Minot Fire Department, Police Department and Street Department will continue operations.
Snow removal efforts will continue throughout the current weather conditions, concentrating on emergency snow routes and major thoroughfares. The public is asked to avoid parking on the side of emergency routes and other roadways to allow for safe, efficient and easier snow removal.
