WILLISTON, N.D. - When the new Williston Basin International Airport opens up in the next few years, something will need to be done about the existing Sloulin Field.

In order to get the best idea of how to redevelop the land, the city of Williston is hosting a public input meeting.

"This will be the largest redevelopment project in the history of the city Williston. We're looking at 800 acres of property. How we shape our community going forward, how we diversify our community going forward, a lot of it is going to rely on what we do and the success we have with the redevelopment of Sloulin Field, so it's very important that the public shows up on Wednesday night and add their input as to what they would like to see," said Williston Economic Development Director Shawn Wenko.

The meeting is on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the ARC.
