City of Williston narrows city administrator position down to 3

WILLISTON, N.D. - The search for Williston's City Administrator has taken the next step. Three finalists have been named for the position.

In no particular order, the first is Troy Anderson from Omaha, Nebraska. The second finalist is Matthew Jackson from Sister Bay, Wisconsin. The third is David Tuan, Williston's current Public Works Director. Part of what made these three stand out is the effort they put in to knowing about Williston.

"These three, well obviously David Tuan knows about Williston, but the other two did their research. They knew about the boom, they knew about the slowdown that we're in right now. They knew about fracking, they knew about a lot of newsworthy events that's happened in Williston over the last year and a half," said Howard Klug, Williston Mayor.

On August 25, there will be a meet-and-greet with the finalists at Train N.D. The city is hoping to make a decision on the position in the next few months.
