California man sentenced for having 183 Pounds of Marijuana in his vehicle

BISMARCK, N.D. - A California man was sentenced Tuesday for having 183 pounds of marijuana in his vehicle.

Seventy-one-year-old Harold Miller was driving from California to Illinois in August when officers stopped him for driving too closely to a car.

The officer smelled marijuana and conducted a probable cause search.

Police found seven large vacuum sealed bags containing a green leafy substance.

Miller was sentenced to 18 months of prison with credit for time served of 57 days
