CHI Dickinson restricting hospital visitors

DICKINSON, N.D. - CHI St Alexius in Dickinson is restricting visitors to all units of the hospital due to flu activity.

In a release Friday, St. A’s said:

Due to the severity of this year’s influenza strain, CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson is restricting visitation to all units in the hospital, effective immediately. Visitor restrictions include:
• Children are prohibited from visiting patient rooms/areas.
• Visitation is restricted to immediate family.
• All visitors must wear a mask.
• If you are sick, do not visit patients in the hospital.

If you are coming into the hospital or clinic seeking care and you are experiencing signs of illness, you must immediately put a mask on. Masks are available at all public entrances.

While we realize these temporary steps may cause inconvenience to family members and visitors, we appreciate your understanding and support as we make every effort to ensure the safety of our patients and newborns.

Visitor restrictions will remain in place until the threat of influenza has passed or returned to normal seasonal level.
