MANDAN, N.D. - The body found Tuesday near the Cannonball River is 57-year-old Darvin Gratz of Mandan according to a state medical examiner.

Morton County Sheriff's Department says his family members found the body that morning while searching for Gratz, who had been missing since May 11 after going fishing along the Missouri River.

They say the state medical examiner determined it was Gratz using past x-ray records.

Morton County, North Dakota Highway Patrol, Game and Fish and other agencies searched for Gratz the last several weeks.
