Bismarck student arrested in connection to Bottineau school threat

BISMARCK, N.D. - A 16-year-old student in the Bismarck Public School district has been arrested in connection to a threat that shutdown the Bottineau Public School district Wednesday.

Bismarck police say they were contacted by a law enforcement agency investigating the threat made to Bottineau Public Schools.

BPD says the agency that contacted them told them that the threat made to Bottineau Public Schools was intended for Bismarck Public Schools.

Police say the threat was made through the social media app Snapchat.

The student was cited for terrorizing.
