Bismarck oral surgeon dies from suspected overdose

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - An oral surgeon in Bismarck who was temporarily suspended from practicing medicine died from a suspected drug overdose Monday night.

First responders tried to revive Dr. Mansureh Iravani with Narcan, a drug meant to reverse the effects of opioid overdose. Investigators say fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opioid, was found inside Iravani's home.
