Bismarck man arrested for threatening residents with gun

BISMARCK, N.D. - Bismarck Police say they responded to a call shortly after 8 p.m. Monday night for a man threatening residents with a gun on the 100 Block of Stuttgart Drive in Bismarck.

Police say they arrested 24-year-old Sean Zowa by Reno Ave., after they got called to a single vehicle crash.

A 39-year-old witness told police he heard yelling and cursing outside of his apartment and went outside. When the witness was outside, Zowa yelled back and threatened to shoot him and began reaching toward his waistband.

When officers arrived, Zowa was gone and they found out that he was kicked out of the apartment.

Witnesses told police the man drove off in a red Chevrolet with a woman.

Officers were later called to a single vehicle crash in a snow bank involving a red Chevrolet and found Zowa shortly after shoeless in another area.

Zowa was arrested for terrorizing, false information to an officer and criminal mischief.
