Bismarck Police release more information on overdose-related deaths

Bismarck Police are releasing new information on recent deaths from drug overdoses in the Bismarck area.

They say on June 29 they responded to an unattended death. The victim was 37-year-old Jason Fuller of Bismarck.

Police say the cause of his death was an opiate overdose.

Authorities also say 31-year-old Zeller Schmid of Bismarck who was found deceased on the steps of St. Mary's Church died from a Methamphetamine overdose.

Police say 20-year-old Preston Lang was transported to a local hospital June 14 for a possible overdose. Lang later died at the hospital last week. His cause of death was determined to be a Heroin overdose.

Finally, on June 9, police say they responded to Motel 6 for an unattended death. Thirty-five-year-old Andrew Vert of Minot was the victim and they say his death has been determined to be a Heroin overdose.
