Bismarck Police investigate robbery at Bremer Bank in Bismarck, suspect in custody

BISMARCK, N.D. - Bismarck police are investigating a bank robbery in Bismarck.

Bismarck Police say it happened at 2:24 at the Bremer Bank on South Washington Street. The suspect did not display a weapon.

He’s described as a white male, in his 50’s, blonde mustache, wearing a black jacket, orange, white and black ball cap, and blue jeans. During the course of the investigation police learned the suspect was believed to have left on foot toward the Clem Kelly softball complex.

Nineteen officers from the Bismarck Police Departmentl and investigative sections responded to the area.

Burleigh County Sheriff’s Department and Mandan Police Department were also notified to be on the lookout for the suspect.

Bismarck Police located a person matching the description underneath the Bismarck Expressway Bridge and arrested him for robbery at 2:55 p.m.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Bismarck Police Department. No one was injured in the robbery.

Formal charges are pending.
