UPDATE: Two suspects arrested in Thursday's SWAT situation

BISMARCK, N.D. - UPDATE (11/13/2017): The suspects have been identified as Israel Segura and Hugo Mendoza.

Segura was arrested for the federal warrant and Mendoza was arrested for meth and cocaine.

UPDATE 11/10: Bismarck Police say two suspects arrested in Thursday's SWAT situation in north Bismarck.

Authorities were called to a home at the corner of Boundary Road and Hay Creek Drive to execute a drug related search warrant, but when they arrived, the suspect barricaded himself in the house.

The SWAT team was called out for a federal warrant. Several agencies responded including the bomb squad.

Police were able to take the man into custody.

The second suspect was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and cocaine.

The suspects names have not been released.


UPDATE 11/9: Authorities were called to a home at the corner of Boundary Road and Hay Creek Drive early Thursday evening to execute a search warrant, but when they arrived, the suspect barricaded himself in the house.

The SWAT team was called out for a federal warrant. Bismarck and Mandan police, Burleigh and Morton county sheriff's deputies and the bomb squad all responded to the scene.

Both Boundary Road and Hay Creek Drive were blocked off while a perimeter was set up around the home.

Police were able to take a man into custody about 8:30 p.m. No injuries were reported.

Authorities were still at the home Thursday night processing the scene.


ORIGINAL STORY 11/9: The Bismarck Police Department and SWAT team responded to a situation on Boundary Road and Hay Creek Drive in north Bismarck.
