Bismarck Mandan Home Builders Association helps elementary school make holiday music

MANDAN, N.D. - As many schools in the area gear up for their holiday concerts, Red Trail Elementary in Mandan was low on supplies. So they asked their students to each bring in buckets for the fourth grade drum line.

That's where the Bismarck-Mandan Home Builders Association stepped in. The association got its members to donate dozens of buckets for the school to use in concerts for years to come.

"This is a real opportunity for us as an association to get into the classrooms and show students that people care about them, not only in their schools, but outside in the community. It was just a perfect match for us," says Dot Frank, BMHBA.

Menards and Sherwin-Williams donated the buckets the children will use to play the marche from the Nutcracker Suite.
