Bismarck Bucks Clinch Postseason Berth

BISMARCK, ND - Injuries have hamstrung the Bismarck Bucks all year. But the expansion team bucked up, and now has something to show for it.

The first-year franchise clinched a playoff berth Saturday night, with a road win over the Salina Liberty.

"I'm not going to tell you we're surprised," Bucks Head Coach/General Manager, Richard Davis said. "Because that's what we wanted. But uh, we've got a lot of work to do. Still. There's a lot of things, goals that we have out in front of us that we want to accomplish and we've done a good job, I think, of assessing those local guys and offered them contracts and for the most part they've worked out and proved us right. So you know what, if you can play, you can play."

The Bucks host the Bloomington Edge this upcoming Saturday in their regular season finale. Winner gets the three-seed in the North Division.
