MINOT, N.D. - A community favorite is finally recovering after the historic flood of 2011.
Apple Grove Golf Course is well underway as Aasen Landscaping preps for seeding and waits for mother nature to take her course.
The Golf Course will now have five par fours and four par threes along with new and longer perimeters around the golf holes.
The project is something, the landscaping and golf course crew, say that community members have been waiting for.
"I've talked to quite a few people that used to golf here that said they haven't golfed since. Just they loved it and they wanna come back here. Of course all of the people that live here been looking at just weeds and whatever so they're happy. I think it's just going to be a good thing for everybody," said Don Aasen, Aasen Landscaping president.
Apple Grove Golf Course is expected to be up and running next summer.
