BISMARCK, N.D. - The Village Family Service Center is looking to help North Dakotans grow their families through adoption.
On Thursday night, they answered questions about the different types of adoption, including in-state, out-of-state and international adoptions. They also discussed the different steps for each process, and the different options adoptions provide.
"It's a way for women to make informed decisions and to have some control in making decisions for their kiddos,” Kim Wood with the The Village said. “And it's a way for adoptive families to be able to grow their families."
In the state of North Dakota, there are over 300 children waiting to be adopted.
