WILLISTON, N.D. - The sixth annual Bakken Oil Product and Services Show was held in Williston.
The event was a way to connect all the various oilfield services together for a chance to network.
After drawing a large crowd last year, this year's show felt the slowdown in the Bakken, with only about 80 vendors on hand. More than 1,000 people attended the event last year, but this year, show organizer Jeff Zarling says the attendance was half that.
"The general feeling is that people are looking forward to an upturn. I think people are fatigued from the length of this correction and the depth of it. Looking for ways to keep hanging on and do things better and more cost-effectively," said Zarling.
The event also held safety training courses.
