4.0 aftershock hits southeast of Lincoln, Mont., Monday

LINCOLN, Mont. – Another aftershock hit the Lincoln area early on Monday.

The U.S. Geological Survey reported a magnitude 4.0 temblor hit 13 miles southeast of Lincoln shortly before 3 a.m.

The quake was felt as far away as Whitefish and Bozeman.

A 5.8 magnitude hit the Lincoln area on July 5 and has been followed by several strong aftershocks.
