A man who led police on a chase through Williston in a stolen pickup truck was sentenced in court this week.
Twenty-five-year-old Christopher Davis Junior will serve five years in the state penitentiary with the last year suspended.
In October, Williston Police received a call for a stolen white pickup truck.
Police found the truck in the Riverview Cemetery driven by Davis.
Officers attempted to pull him over, but he drove over the embankment on Ninth Avenue before striking a camper. Davis abandoned the truck and attempted to escape on foot.
He was in possession of several stolen items and was driving on a suspended license.
Davis will receive 263 days credit for time served.
