MINOT, N.D. - Minot's 37th Avenue SW has re-opened to traffic.
Minot officials say crews have completed the major roadwork on 37th Avenue from 16th Street to 30th Street SW.
Crews are just finishing up lane striping and joint sealing.
The 37th Avenue Expansion Project converted the two-lane asphalt rural road to a five-lane concrete urban street, complete with a ten foot wide walking path, at a cost of $6.6 million.
The intersection lights are ‘blinking red’ Friday because crews are working on programming them. Drivers should still use caution when passing through the intersection and be aware of orange barrels and speed limit signs
