3 involved in Williston heroin drug ring plead not guilty

Three individuals involved in a Williston drug ring who were suspected of supplying laced heroin pleaded not guilty in federal court.

Jamelle Edwards, Sylvester McCurry and Timothy Amundson pleaded not guilty to distribution of heroin and conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute heroin.

The three are part of a group of six blamed for a series of overdoses in a two-week span, which resulted in one death.

Jury trial for all six has been scheduled for Sept. 27.
