$2 million bond set for man charged with Williston murder

WILLISTON, N.D. - Bond has been set for a man charged with murder in Williston.

A judge has given 27-year-old Alex Eggleston a $2 million bond.

The state originally asked for a no-bond hold, citing Eggleston's criminal history.

He was convicted of robbery in 2008. But, the judge said Eggleston was entitled to a bond.

Eggleston has been charged with shooting and killing 43-year-old Vance Neset early last Friday morning.

A hreliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 17.
