Months of preparation will come down to two performances on Friday and Saturday. The Mosbrucker Rodeo Company is holding its 9th annual PRCA Championship at the Civic Center this week. The dirt work is being done today to get ready for over 300 contestants from 13 states and Canada.

One of those entered is Mandan`s Ty Breuer in the bareback riding.

"Ty`s been coming up the ranks for the last couple of years. He`s been riding great and staying healthy. Actually in Denver he placed second in the second round on one of our horses down there so be ended up winning the National Western for this year and he`s sitting number one in the world right now and we`re proud of him and proud to have him here this weekend," said Wally Mosbrucker with the Mosbrucker Rodeo Company.

Breuer is scheduled for Saturday but he is also competing in Ft.Worth this week and if Ty makes the short-go he`ll have to miss Bismarck.

Mosbrucker says last year was the best they`ve ever had at the Civic Center and he expects more from this week.
