Oyloe, Pope Honored | Video

A pair of Marauders picked up some post-season accolades today as John Oyloe and Elby Pope were both selected to the Don Hansen Football Committee third team all-region. Pope is a sophomore receiver from Grand Forks and he led the Marauders with 63-catches for 977-yards and seven touchdowns. He was also the team`s primary kick and punt returner.

Oyloe was second in the Northern Sun with 10-sacks and finished the season with 13 and a half tackles for a loss. The junior from Williston is already one of U-Mary`s career leaders in each categories.

Both Pope and Oyloe were first team all-conference selections in the past fall.
