The University of Mary has opened the football season with a pair of wins with the Marauders offense leading the way. On Saturday, they beat Augustana 31-to-25. U-Mary quarterback Craig Bagnell threw for a career-high 407-yards.

He also connected on four touchdown passes to three different receivers.

"There`s not one guy on the receiving corp, there`s 4-5-6 guys who can step in and make plays at any moment and our offensive line was rolling. They were blocking well and Craig was in a zone and we moved the ball well on that first half, kind of struggles in the second half we for go clean that up a little bit," said wide receiver Ty Steffan.

Bagnell and the Marauders look to go 3-0 this week when they travel to Marshall, Minnesota.
