MSU QB Battle | Video

It`s the position that attracts the most attention.

And for Minot State, the quarterback spot is also the one with the most question marks as the Beavers gear up for their first season of Division II football.

After having sophomores Bryce Jorgenson and C.J. Evans split time under center last year, head coach Paul Rudolph would like to have one QB step up this season and become a consistent starter.

"If we were to start today, Bryce probably had a little bit better spring - was a little more consistent," Rudolph says. "Is he heads and tails better? No. But he was probably better through the course of 15 practices. You know if we started today, he`d start. But that sure isn`t. August 30th, whether he`s the starter or not, that remains to be seen."

The Beavers have two more practices before the hitting starts on Monday.

Although QBs won`t be hit until the first game on August 30th
