After being ruined by last year`s Souris River flooding, the finishing touches are being made to bring Minot`s Corbett Field back to life.
The work to remove all the silted dirt from the field and install new grass has been completed.
At this point about 85 percent of the sod at the field has taken root.
Now the bluegrass mix needs some heat and plenty of water to get good and green in the next month.
There`s still other work to be done.
The grounds crew is finishing the mound and fencing before the first game on July second.
