Weapon Arrest in Mandan

Felons aren`t allowed to carry guns, but Mandan Police found a man with four of them. At about 1:00 a.m. Tuesday, an officer saw a suspicious vehicle in front of a closed business in the 2700 block of Memorial Highway.

The officer ran a check and found that there was an arrest warrant issued for the man in the car, James Siegrist, 32. The officer searched Siegrist and found two hand guns on him. There was another handgun and a rifle in the car as well, along with a large amount of money.

He faces numerous charges.
