Minot Taxi Driver Assaulted

A Minot taxi driver was sent to the hospital early this morning after being assaulted by a customer. According to Minot police, Patrick Johnson, 23, was picked up at a bar by the 22 year old female driver. Johnson was intoxicated and made numerous advances toward the driver during the drive to his destination. the driver was eventually struck, injured and taken to Trinity hospital.

Police tracked down Johnson and arrested him for aggravated assault. Johnson is being held at the Ward County Jail, awaiting an appearance in court.
