Crane Goes Into Ditch, Causes Road Closure

No one was injured when a crane slid off the road and caused a closure on the Highway 83 Bypass in Minot this morning. The North Dakota Highway Patrol, the crane was heading southbound on the bypass just after midnight when the dolly on the rear of the crane slid on the icy road.

The bypass was closed between the Junction US 2/52 and the 4th Ave NW interchange from about 10:15 to 11:30 this morning so the crane could be towed out of the ditch.
