Two Fatal Weekend Crashes

Two people are dead following two separate crashes that took place this weekend. An Oklahoma man was killed in a car-semi collision Saturday morning near New Town. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Devin Farah, 27, of Tulsa was traveling westbound on Highway 23 when he attempted a u-turn, but his Ford Bronco was hit by a semi driven by Thomas Trullinger, 63, of Berthold.

Farah was pronounced dead at the scene. Trullinger had no injuries.

Another crash yesterday afternoon claimed the life of an Arizona man near Kenmare. According to the highway patrol, Darrell Skjonsby, 68, of Saskatchewan was heading north on Highway 52 driving a pickup and towing a camper. Chris Voll of Tucson, Arizona was heading south when he lost control of his vehicle due to icy conditions and hit Skjonsby`s pick up head on.

Voll was pronounced dead at the scene. Sjkonsby was transported to Trinity hospital in Minot.
