No Travel Advisories Issued, Travel Alert Extended

The North Dakota Department of Transportation has issued a No Travel Advisory for areas north of Minot including the cities of Kenmare, Mohall and Bottineau due to heavy snow causing near zero visibility. There is also a No Travel Advisory in effect for the Jamestown and Valley City areas due to ice covered roadways.

In addition, a Travel Alert has been extended to the Grand Forks area.

A Travel Alert is currently in effect for the northwest and north central portions of North Dakota including the cities of Williston, Minot, Devils Lake and surrounding areas. Conditions are such that motorists can still travel in these areas, but shouldbe advised of challenging winter driving conditions. Motorists are encouraged to reduce speeds and drive according to the conditions.
