Bus Survey Online

The Minot Public Transit is beginning the second phase of its bus study to improve the city`s public transportation system.
Starting this week, the Minot Public Transit and Nelson and Nygaard Associates are launching an online bus survey.
The survey will ask riders and non-riders basic information about the city`s bus services and routes to get a better idea of how to improve and revamp the current system.
"This is where we want to get the general public of Minot to go out and it`s a 10-minute survey,” said Minot Public Transit Superintendent Brian Horinka. “And we would like you to go out there and take some time and talks, so we can get a better idea of what type of transit options that people in the community want. And, that`s really going to drive our final product. So, the better public input we get the better product we`re going to end up with."
To take the survey, go to www.minotbusstudy.com. The site opens later this week and will close sometime in early April.
The consulting firm will be back in Minot to hold public information sessions on April 11 and 12.
