MAFB Officials Continue to Investigate Emergency Helicopter Landing

Officials at Minot Air Force Base are still investigating a helicopter mishap that happened Monday morning near Parshall. The Huey helicopter with five airmen on board went down at about 10:45 after the helicopter had a mechanical problem and the pilot initiated emergency landing procedures. Two airmen had minor injuries, they were treated and released from the hospital.
Officials are asking anyone who may have seen the helicopter go down to please give them a call at 701-723-6212.
